As Senior People Business Partner, you will be instrumental in ensuring that we comply with all employment law regulations and practices in France. You will identify improvements to existing processes and any opportunities for elevating the operations of the People team in France. You will report to the Head of People (based in London).
You will be the first point of contact for any Labour law and Employee Relations matters across the French business unit and you will work across the full employee lifecycle, ensuring that we provide an excellent people experience in every interaction. You will lead the monthly payroll process, and will support hiring managers with recruitment for the Paris HQ, as needed, to help them to bring in amazing talent into their teams.
Your responsibilities:
1. Technical HR and Labour Law
You will be responsible for:
Management of all matters of employment law and social relations for the French business
Proactively monitor and manage the risks, regulations and requirements for the French business from a People perspective; identifying & proposing improvements and risk mitigation activities
Heavy involvement in our monthly payroll process (we have recently launched Nibelis as our payroll provider)
Management of labour relations, preparation and presentation for the meetings of staff representatives (CSE)
Management of any disciplinary processes with managers,
Ensure compliance with legal requirements including, but not limited to, professional development (Entretien Professionel and Bilan Professionel), Contribution Agefiph, work permits & gender equality index.
Run people processes for the team in Spain, in partnership with our Spanish payroll and legal advisers.
Management of certain external bodies such as Occupational medicine, pension fund, the HR committee of the Fast Food Restaurant Union;
Daily use of our HRIS, ensuring all records are maintained (Hibob)
2. Culture; talent acquisition & retention
You will participate in the recruitment process for all roles based in the Paris HQ, from sourcing and interviews, through to offers & contract, and you will support the hiring managers throughout the process.
Identify opportunities to attract, recruit and retain the best talent in the French employment market
You will ensure fantastic onboarding experiences for all new joiners in France, preparing for their arrival & successfully integrating them into Taster
Support with office management to ensure that the Paris HQ is a fantastic environment for our teams to work in
Lead on the upcoming office move, ensuring a seamless and impactful experience for all involved
Requirements:
You are an expert in French labor law;
You have 5+ years in the field of Human Resources at a team management level, preferably in an international context
A qualification in Human Resources is beneficial but not essential
You have proven experience running a payroll process
You are comfortable with the Google Suite environment
You have excellent communication skills, both written and oral in French and English;
Fluency in French and English is essential; Spanish is a bonus
Preferably you have experience in a start-up or in a fast-growing company and you embrace change
