We’re growing rapidly and looking for a talented Head of Growth Marketing
Taster is seeking a dynamic Head of Growth Marketing to join the London office, to build and execute strategic media plans and growth tests to drive strong results. Sitting in the marketing team, the Head of Growth Marketing will be responsible for managing all of our activity within the delivery platforms (e.g. Deliveroo), as well as developing a strong team of growth focused individuals, building our media strategy and owning our media agency relationships. Taster isn’t a typical D2C start up running a lot of performance marketing, our business model is unique - therefore this role will require a unique candidate who can take on the challenge of driving growth through the delivery platforms as well as a blended traditional/digital media strategy. You will be reporting to the CMO.
Audience understanding - Deeply understand our audience. Run consumer studies and identify key target audiences and segments to align media strategy and experiments against
Insight & tracking - Own all commercial performance data including setting up and running econometrics tracking. Provide insight to the marketing team and wider business into consumer behaviours and GTV drivers to enhance our marketing and product strategy
Media strategy - Managing relationships with media agencies and building a long term media strategy to deliver Taster’s GTV goals
Performance marketing - Accountable for the performance marketing strategy (majority of spend within delivery platforms) and line management of a small performance marketing team
In-platform ownership - Managing our shopfront across all delivery platforms and markets, ensuring it is optimised. Accountable for all in-platform advertising spend and promotional activity.
Own testing and experimenting - Identify potential new channels and experiments to drive GTV - hypothesis, run the test, analyse and iterate
Loyalty and CRM - Build our community through a loyalty programme and CRM strategy - leveraging the first party data from the programme to create business insight
Implementation and reporting - build the processes and the team to ensure smooth execution of campaigns and post campaign reporting
Build and develop the team - recruit, coach and support a strong team of analytical and technically skilled individuals across performance marketing, ecommerce and SEO
Budget management - forecast spend, own the media budgets (including in-platform ad spend) and ensure efficient investments and strong governance and tracking of ROI
Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree
7+ years' experience in digital and media or growth marketing roles responsible for agency management and budget controls
Extensive knowledge across all channels (digital & traditional) and experience at running TTL campaigns
Experience in a high growth environment in a ‘Growth’ role
3+ years’ team management experience - leading media or marketing teams
Commercially astute and numerically literate
Ecommerce experience or experience in a digital trading environment
Global experience is strongly preferred
Outstanding communication skills - able to create a compelling vision and simplify complexity
Strategic thinking combined with end to end execution expertise and the ability to adapt as necessary to deliver at pace
Strong prioritisation and coordination skills
Right to work in the UK
High english proficiency
Nice to have: Knowledge of French, Spanish or Dutch
